Privacy Policy

KinouBoost (“KinouBoost”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides an AI marketing operating system that learns your business, drafts platform-native content, generates on-brand images and video, and — with your approval — publishes to your connected social channels and reads back engagement. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By using KinouBoost you agree to the practices described here.
This policy applies to our website and web application. It works together with our Terms of Service. If you connect third-party platforms (such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, or Google), those platforms process your data under their own privacy policies in addition to this one.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and workspace/organization details.
- Business context you provide — the information you enter into your Business Brain, such as your business description, brand voice, products, audiences, websites, and uploaded documents.
- Content you create — posts, captions, prompts, briefs, comments, approvals, and schedules you produce in the app.
- Media you upload or generate — images, videos, logos, and brand assets stored in your Media Library.
- Connected social accounts — when you connect a channel, we receive the access and refresh tokens the platform issues, your account/profile identifiers, and the data allowed by the permission scopes you grant (for example, the ability to publish posts or read comments on your own accounts/pages).
- Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken, used for security, debugging, and improving the product.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in and to operate the service (see “Cookies” below).
2. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the service — authenticate you, run your workspace, and store your content and media.
- To generate content — send your prompts and relevant Business Brain context to AI providers so we can draft text, images, and video for you.
- To publish and manage on your behalf — post approved content to your connected channels and retrieve engagement (such as comments and mentions) that you ask us to manage.
- To secure and maintain the platform — prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and protect your account.
- To communicate with you — send service, security, and account notices, and (where permitted) product updates.
- To improve the product — understand feature usage in aggregate and fix issues.
3. AI processing and generated content
To generate drafts, we send the prompts and business context needed for the task to AI model providers acting as our processors. We do not use your workspace data to train shared or public AI models, and we do not sell your data.
AI output is generated automatically and is clearly marked as AI-generated until a human reviews and approves it. Nothing is published to your channels without approval when your workspace requires it. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before it is published.
4. Connecting third-party platforms
When you connect a channel, you authorize KinouBoost to access that account using the permissions (scopes) you grant during the platform's OAuth flow. We use this access only to perform the actions you request — such as publishing content you approve and reading engagement on your own accounts and pages.
- Tokens — access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and are never displayed back to you or shared with third parties.
- Scope — we request the minimum permissions needed for the features you use; you see and consent to these on the platform's own screen.
- Disconnecting — you can disconnect any channel at any time from the Channels page, which revokes our stored tokens for that account.
- Platform data — data obtained from a connected platform is used solely to operate KinouBoost for you and is handled in accordance with that platform's developer terms and policies.
5. Service providers and sub-processors
We rely on a limited set of trusted providers who process data on our behalf under contract, including cloud hosting/infrastructure, AI model providers used to generate content, and the social platforms you choose to connect. These providers may only use your data to provide services to us.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only: with the service providers and sub-processors described above; with the social platforms you connect, to carry out actions you request; when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete content, media, and channel connections at any time. When you delete your workspace or account, we delete or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
8. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Sensitive secrets — including OAuth tokens and any provider API keys you supply — are protected using envelope encryption managed by a key management system, are never logged, and are never returned by our APIs after they are saved. Access is scoped per workspace so your data stays within your tenant. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise many of these directly in the app (editing or deleting content, disconnecting channels, updating your account) or by contacting us. You may also withdraw consent for optional communications at any time.
10. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the service, including a secure, httpOnly cookie that maintains your session. We do not use cookies to sell your data. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent the app from working.
11. International data transfers
We and our service providers may process and store your information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
12. Children's privacy
KinouBoost is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of KinouBoost after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
14. Contact us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at contact@kinouboost.b-wyz.com.
